Cotswold Wildlife Park & Zoo
A visit to Cotswold Wildlife Park & Zoo is a must do for anybody visiting Oxford. The beautiful 160 acres of parkland are home to over 250 different species of animals, birds and insects!
With the spectacular Victorian Manor house at the centre of the grounds and set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside the wildlife park has something for everyone to enjoy, and is both wheel chair and push chair friendly! So why not bring the whole family out for a great day!
Why not hop on the train which will take you around the park to see the animals which are housed outside, before stepping into the reptile house to seek out snakes and crocodiles, or hunt for the sleepy sloths in the warmer climate of the tropical house! The Madagascar exhibit is an outside walk through exhibit which allows you to get up close to animals native to the country including mischievous lemurs. This exhibit was set up to educate visitors on the importance of conservation to protect endangered species.
From monkeys to meerkats, lions to lemurs there is definately something to keep everyone entertained, including feeding time and becoming a zoo keeper for the day!
